The doctor was very pleased today. Hopefully, Friday will be the last day of having to lay facing the ceiling.
Her eye looked great. I thought it would look red from the operation. There is a bubble underneath the cornea, which helps it stay in place. It reminds me of a level, just a bubble floating.
What surprised me was the discovery of no stitches holding the cornea to her eye. I guess that explains why the eye looks as good as it does.
Now she is on the drops. The important one is a steroid that helps the body not reject the new tissue in her eye.
