Just noticed a new Jimmy John’s subs is coming to downtown Portsmouth this evening. The location is the corner of High and Court streets.
I think they will do well. Especially during lunch time.

Why does it take the passing of someone you know to appreciate life?
I am one officially into day one of my vacation. I was checking out what folks were doing on Facebook when I saw the message someone I graduated high school with, Tommy Neal, had passed away Sunday morning from cancer.
I knew he was battling the disease and had been getting treatments in Texas for sometime.
After reading this my mortality seems to be starring at me. Reminding me that if there are things in life you want to do or achieve you better get to it. You don’t know when your last day is.
RIP Tommy. Sorry you won’t be here to continue this journey with the rest of us. Pray for your wife and family to find peace and solace in the fact you are in a better place and you are no longer in pain.
